El Matador Roaster is an Emirati specialty coffee roasting company based in Abu Dhabi.
We are a team of Emirati coffee enthusiasts who came together to supply our niche market with the most exceptional coffee beans from around the world. We saw coffee as a natural product with many possibilities, so we decided to learn the 'art' of coffee roasting. We believe that coffee roasting is an art that requires care, passions, patience and creativity. Therefore, we invested our time, heart and soul into learning it science, understanding its qualities and perfecting its flavors and aromas.

Our coffee offerings change throughout the year, depending on what's in season and what tastes delicious and to give our customers the opportunity to experience the diversity of origin, flavour and profile of our coffee. We buy and roast in small batches to ensure we bring out the best qualities in every lot.

An Emirati coffee enthusiast, who realized that a cup of coffee is much more than a caffeine delivery vehicle to awake people in the morning or prop them up through a long afternoon, it is an 'art' of which he vowed to master. Taking raw green coffee beans and turning them into delectable roasted coffee became his passion. Through his travels, he built direct relationships with award-winning coffee roasters to improve his skills and techniques and to understand the science behind bringing out the flavours and aromas in each green bean.
OUR COFFEE
We take an uncompromising approach to quality. We spend our time sourcing beans from some of the best growers and suppliers in the world, looking for superior coffees that are distinctive and memorable and can stand up on their own without blending. We roast our coffee in small batches using PROBAT, a world market leader in machinery and systems for the coffee and food industry made in Germany. We then taste each one to ensure we are bringing out the very best in every lot. This approach takes time, but to us it's worth it.
